The Village at Totem Lake Re-Opens and Welcomes Newest Store: Urban Tread
Kirkland, WA - Jun 16, 2020
As King County moves into modified Phase I of the Safe Start plan,
retailers at The Village at Totem Lake are beginning to welcome shoppers back
in a safe, and social-distanced, environment
The Village at Totem Lake is pleased to continue its phased center re-opening, as well as welcome its newest tenant, Urban Tread. “We are welcoming guests and employees back to an environment that has been well-sanitized and is well-prepared for re-opening,” states Paul Brett, General Manager for CenterCal Properties.
Many tenants stayed open to safely serve the community such as Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, All the Best Pets, AutoZone, HSBC, Key Bank, Joe’s Burgers, Chipotle, MOD Pizza, 203°F Coffee Co.,
T-Mobile, Wells Fargo, AT&T and Verizon. With Anthony Vince’ Nail Spa, Ross, and Nordstrom Rack now re-opened, all stores are open for either curbside pick-up or in-store shopping.
Signage is now posted throughout the property reminding shoppers to maintain a safe distance including concrete decals that serve as a visual reminder for line control. Hand sanitizer stations are also available throughout The Village. Each store is working hard to follow specific state and county mandates to meet required safety criteria for re-opening. Shoppers are encouraged to wear face coverings and to check with each individual store to confirm its re-opening status and hours of operation.
New Store: Urban Tread
The Village is excited to welcome Seattle-based, Urban Tread. Urban Tread specializes in stylish and comfortable shoes and boots for men and women from internationally-known brands such as Dansko, Birkenstock, Taos, and Hoka.
A Look Ahead
The Village expects to welcome several new tenants in the coming months, including lululemon, Athleta, and Evereve in Phase I of the project. “Based on current projections, we expect to complete Phase II of the project this year once it’s safe for construction to resume in full capacity,” says Brett. “We look forward to celebrating grand openings of our newest tenants including Cinemark, Sephora, and Salt & Straw, to name a few.”
